Communicable Disease and Infection Control. A. Contractor shall have a MVEMSA approved Communicable Disease Policy that complies with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal-OSHA) requirements and other regulations related to prevention, reporting of exposure, and disposal of medical waste. All prehospital personnel shall be trained in prevention, personal protective equipment, and universal precautions.
