COMMITMENTS BY THE RECIPIENT. a) The Recipient will ensure the Project is completed in a diligent and timely manner, as per the Project Details outlined in Schedule B, within the costs and deadlines specified in this Agreement and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. b) The Recipient will be responsible for all costs of the Project including cost overruns, if any. c) The Recipient will be responsible for any and all costs associated with the Project should the Project be withdrawn or cancelled, and the Recipient will repay to Canada any payment received for disallowed costs and all ineligible costs, surpluses, unexpended contributions, and overpayments made under and according to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. d) The Recipient will ensure that the greenhouse gas emissions assessment that includes a cost-per-tonne calculation for the Project is completed to Canada’s satisfaction and submitted to Canada within six months of the Effective Date and prior to Canada flowing funds, unless otherwise required by Canada. e) The Recipient will report on community employment benefits provided to at least three federal target groups (apprentices, Indigenous peoples, women, persons with disabilities, veterans, youth, recent immigrants, or small- and medium-sized enterprises and social enterprises) and submit to Canada with annual updates until Project completion as per paragraph 8.
