COMMITMENT DAYS. 43.1 In order to allow employees to request additional time off for commitment days, each department will maintain a commitment book. The Company will indicate in each book the number of employees in each classification who are eligible to take a commitment day, on a daily or weekly basis. Employees will be allowed to select the day or days they wish to be absent from work with- out pay on the following basis, subject to the limits pre- scribed by the Company for each classification.
