Common use of Commercially Reasonable Efforts and Further Assurances Clause in Contracts

Commercially Reasonable Efforts and Further Assurances. Subject to the respective rights and obligations of Veritas and Seagate under this Agreement, each of Veritas and Seagate shall use its respective commercially reasonable efforts to effectuate the Merger and the other transactions contemplated hereby, and to fulfill and cause to be fulfilled the conditions to the Closing under this Agreement. Each of Veritas and Seagate, at the reasonable request of the other party hereto, shall execute and deliver such other instruments, and do and perform such other acts and things, as may be necessary or desirable for effecting completely the consummation of the Merger and the other transactions contemplated hereby.
