CM'S Compensation Clause Samples

The "CM's Compensation" clause defines the payment terms and structure for the Construction Manager (CM) under the contract. It typically outlines the basis for compensation, such as a fixed fee, cost-plus arrangement, or a percentage of project costs, and may specify what expenses are reimbursable. This clause ensures both parties have a clear understanding of how and when the CM will be paid, thereby reducing the risk of disputes over compensation and promoting transparency in the financial aspects of the project.
