CLOUD STORAGE SERVICES. 18.1. Leaseweb offers Cloud Storage Services, a Cloud Storage components of the Cloud Platform (“Cloud Storage Services”), with different storage types, storage capacity and performance tiers, differentiated on IOPS per volume and latency assigned to each tier. The Cloud Storage Services are provided to Customer on a shared storage system, and therefore Customer’s use of the Cloud Storage Services may affect the performance (such as latency, storage bandwidth and IOPS) of the storage system as a whole. The IOPS per volume are based on a usage profile of 4K block size with 70/30 read/write use (“Usage Profile”), by default. 18.2. To protect the performance and integrity of the Cloud Platform, Customer shall ensure that its use of the Cloud Storage Service shall be fair and reasonable in line with its Usage Profile. Other Usage Profiles are supported by Leaseweb, but they may lead to different IOPS performance results. 18.3. Customer’s use of the Cloud Storage Services shall be deemed unfair and unreasonable, if the Cloud Platform usage is consistently deviating from the Usage Profile in such a way that it affects the performance of the Cloud Platform as a whole, to be solely determined by Leaseweb at its sole discretion based on its own information and tools. Consistent deviating use that is deemed to be unfair and unreasonable will result in additional Fees.
