A Closed Area clause defines specific geographic zones where certain activities, such as fishing, construction, or resource extraction, are restricted or prohibited. This clause typically outlines the boundaries of the closed area, the duration of the restriction, and the types of activities that are not allowed within its limits. Its core practical function is to protect sensitive environments, manage resources sustainably, or comply with regulatory requirements by clearly delineating areas where operations must not occur.
Closed Area. When the Agency requires an employee to travel inside a “closed area”, time spent traveling through the closed area shall constitute time worked. For the purpose of this article, a “closed area” refers to any area declared closed by the responsible authority.
Closed Area. At the discretion of the Director of Parks and Recreation, or the Director's designee, any section or part of any park, facility or field may be declared closed (due to construction, drainage issues or other reasons) to the public at any time and for any interval of time, either temporarily or at regularly scheduled, stated intervals (daily or otherwise).
