A Closed Area clause defines specific geographic zones where certain activities, such as fishing, construction, or resource extraction, are restricted or prohibited. Closed Area. When the Agency requires an employee to travel inside a “closed area”, time spent traveling through the closed area shall constitute time worked. For the purpose of this article, a “closed area” refers to any area declared closed by the responsible authority.
