Clock-Hour Faculty Sample Clauses

The "Clock-Hour Faculty" clause defines the employment terms and responsibilities for faculty members whose compensation and workload are based on the number of instructional hours they teach, rather than on a salaried or credit-hour basis. This clause typically outlines how teaching hours are calculated, how pay rates are determined, and may specify eligibility for benefits or additional duties. By clearly establishing the framework for clock-hour assignments, the clause ensures transparency in compensation and workload expectations, helping to prevent disputes and promote fair treatment of faculty working under this arrangement.
