Classroom Moves. Classroom moves are the responsibility of the Winner School District’s Maintenance Department, not Members of the Bargaining Unit. Teachers are responsible for moving their personal supplies/equipment only.

Classroom Moves. 33.01 The employer agrees that any classroom/worksite moves shall be done with the appropriate number of staff to ensure that the move is done in a safe and efficient manner using proper equipment.

Classroom Moves. In the event a licensed staff member is required by the principal or District to move to another classroom in the same building, the licensed staff member will be given two (2) duty-free days or the equivalent of two (2) days’ pay to complete the move. Exempted from this provision will be any classroom moves made during the last two (2) weeks of the school year. K-5 licensed staff members required to move during the last two (2) weeks of the school year will be paid at the non-professional duty rate for eight (8) hours of work.
Classroom Moves. When a classroom move is necessitated by school construction/modernization or emergency circumstances teachers with a 60% or greater FTE will receive a $100.00 stipend. Such stiped will be subject to statutory benefits. This compensation will be for packing and unpacking of classroom equipment, materials, and supplies to prepare for construction and then return to classroom for student instruction. Teachers will be paid upon completion of the move and submission of a timesheet subject to payroll timelines.
Classroom Moves. Any unit member who is requested by the District to change classrooms and agrees, or who is directed by the District to change classrooms, shall receive either $300.00 or two days of release time during the year to effectuate the move.
