Common use of Circuit Breakers Clause in Contracts

Circuit Breakers. Each of the six (6) breakers shall use reclosing and redundant breaker failure protection. ‘A’ and ‘B’ package breaker failure protection will be performed by two (2) SEL 351-6 relays for each breaker at the station (totaling twelve (12) breaker failure relays). Reclosing will be performed by one (1) SEL 351-6 relay for each breaker in the station (totaling six (6) reclosing relays). Direct Transfer Trip (“DTT”) will be required between the Moon Road Station and the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇, and Falconer stations for breaker failure protection. Lines 172 and 173 to Laona will use the RFL GARD 8000 for both transmit and receive, and an SEL-351-6, 94TTA relay will be added to trip and drive reclosing to lockout. Lines 175 and 176 to Falconer will use the RFL GARD 8000. These terminals will require DTT receive only, and an SEL-351-6, 94TTA relay will be added to trip and drive the reclosing to lockout. Line 177 to the Cassadaga Collector Substation will use the functionality of the line differential relays for both DTT transmit and receive. SEL 351-6 relays, 94 TTA and 94 TTB will be added to trip and drive the reclosing to lockout.
