CHRISTMAS AND SPRING BREAK. The Principal, in consultation with the Head Custodian, will meet prior to the break and determine the needs of the activities schedule for keeping the building manned. Basic hours are either 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. or, 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. During Christmas and Spring Breaks the building may need to be manned through the evening hours, depending on the activity schedule. The buildings will be manned at least between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and with twenty-four (24) hours notice until 5:00 p.m. (exceptions are after-school and evening activities, referred to above, which may call for xxxxxxx the building until 11:00 p.m.). The building custodial crew is responsible for working out coverage. SHIFT PREFERENCE- Reasonable attempts will be made during absences to allow a shift preference for custodians.

  • Christmas Closedown 15.1 It is agreed that whenever annual leave is taken in conjunction with the Christmas/New Year period (as per Calendar in sub-clause 2.11), it is to be taken in accordance with the following procedure.

  • Christmas Day Easter Tuesday shall be observed as a Public Holiday in lieu of Easter Saturday and any work performed on Easter Saturday shall be paid at ordinary Saturday penalty rates. The State shall be responsible for continuing to provide laundering of work clothing where such service is being provided as of the effective date of this Agreement.

  • ENTERTAINERS AND SPORTSPERSONS 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 14, income derived by a resident of a Contracting State as an entertainer, such as a theatre, motion picture, radio or television artiste, or a musician, or as a sportsperson, from that resident’s personal activities as such exercised in the other Contracting State, may be taxed in that other Contracting State.

  • Christmas or New Year's Day Off The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that employees required to work shift shall have at least Christmas Day or the following New Year's Day off.

  • CHRISTMAS BONUS 16.01 All part-time employees on the payroll of the Company as of December 1st in any year who have completed six (6) months' continuous service with the Company shall be entitled to a Christmas Bonus of fifteen ($l5.00) dollars payable on or before December 15th.

  • BEREAVEMENT/TANGIHANGA LEAVE 15.1 The employer shall approve special bereavement leave on pay for an employee to discharge any obligation and/or to pay respects to a deceased person with whom the employee has had a close association. Such obligations may exist because of blood or family ties or because of particular cultural requirements such as attendance at all or part of a Tangihanga (or its equivalent). The length of time off shall be at the discretion of the employer.
