Checkered Flag Clause Samples

The Checkered Flag clause establishes a clear endpoint or completion marker for a project, contract, or specific phase of work. In practice, this clause defines the criteria or events that signify when obligations have been fulfilled, such as the delivery of final products, completion of services, or achievement of agreed milestones. Its core function is to provide certainty for all parties about when responsibilities end, helping to prevent disputes over whether contractual duties have been met and allowing for a smooth transition to subsequent steps or closure.
