Common use of CHARGE HAND Clause in Contracts

CHARGE HAND. (a) A charge hand is an employee who is designated to lead and direct a small work crew under the overall direction of the Director, and is expected to work with the work crew. (b) A charge hand rate of one dollar and ninety ($1.90) shall be applied to the employees base wage. When designated as a charge hand, an employee shall receive the charge hand rate for a minimum of four (4) hours.

(b) A charge hand rate of one dollar and ninety ($1.901.00) effective January 15, 1995, above the highest rate of an employee being supervised shall be applied paid to the employees base wagea charge hand. When designated as a charge hand, an employee shall receive the charge hand rate for a minimum of four (4) hours. (c) A charge hand shall receive no less than the amount stipulated in (b) more than their regular rate of pay.
