Changes to the Project Work Additional Work Clause Samples

The "Changes to the Project Work; Additional Work" clause defines the process for modifying the scope of work or adding new tasks to a project after the initial agreement. Typically, this clause outlines how either party can propose changes, the approval process required, and how adjustments to timelines, costs, or deliverables will be handled. For example, if the client requests extra features or the contractor identifies necessary modifications, this clause ensures there is a formal method to document and agree on those changes. Its core function is to provide a structured approach for managing project changes, preventing misunderstandings, and ensuring both parties are aligned on any alterations to the original agreement.
