CHANGES IN SKILL MIX. The mix of labor categories, as well as the distribution of the effort among these categories under a contract or task order, may vary from the initial mix and distribution of effort that was estimated by the Government or proposed by the Contractor. Upon agreement between the Government and the Contractor, the Government may modify the contract or task order to reflect the agreed adjustments, within the original scope of the contract or task order, and without increasing the total contract or task order ceiling amount. This may result a shorter contract or task order period of performance. Furthermore, the Contractor must offer discounts proportionately to the previous discounts for the contract or task order.
