Common use of Changes in Service Clause in Contracts

Changes in Service. When changes in the services are required or requested by the State, Contractor shall promptly estimate their monetary effect and so notify the State. No change shall be implemented by Contractor unless it is approved by the State in writing; and, unless otherwise agreed to in writing, the provisions of this Agreement shall apply to all changes in the services. If the State determines that any change materially affects the cost or time of performance of this Agreement as a whole, Contractor and the State will mutually agree in writing to an equitable adjustment.
