Common use of Change Order as Final Agreement Clause in Contracts

Change Order as Final Agreement. Agreement on any Change Order shall constitute a final settlement of all matters relating to the change in the Work which is the subject of the Change Order, including but not limited to, all direct and indirect costs and general conditions associated with such change and any and all adjustments to the Contract Sum, Contract Time and the Construction Schedule. In the event a Change Order increases the Contract Sum, Contractor shall include the Work covered by such Change Orders in Applications for Payment as if such Work were originally part of the Contract Documents.
