Common use of Change Control Procedure Clause in Contracts

Change Control Procedure. 22.1 Any request to change or add to this contract or any other document attached to or referred to in this contract shall be dealt with in accordance with the change control procedure in condition 22.2 to 22.10. No change request shall be binding on the parties unless the requirements of the change control procedure have been satisfied and a change request form set out in Schedule 3 is signed by the Contract Manager and the Contractor to signify their approval to the change. The change control procedure may be expedited at any time by agreement between the parties. Until such time as a change request has been formally agreed by both parties to this contract, both parties shall continue to perform their respective obligations without taking account of the change request. Change requests may be originated by either party to the contract or may be originated by the parties jointly. In the case of any unilateral change request, the party that originates it (the “Originating Party”) shall within 7 working days supply to the other party either; To the greatest extent reasonably practicable, full details of all consequential changes which will be required to the services, the contract or the contract price and all other effects of the proposed change; or written confirmation that to the best of its knowledge, there will be no such consequential changes or effects. The receiving party shall notify the originating party that the report is accepted or rejected within 10 working days of receipt. If a change request is originated by the parties jointly, the Contractor shall provide to the DTV Probation Trust a completed Change Request Form for signature. The DTV Probation Trust reserves the right to withhold its agreement to a change request for any reason whatsoever. The Contractor shall not unreasonably withhold or delay its agreement to any change request.
