Certification Requirement. It shall be the policy of the Board of Education to employ those persons who have earned a Bachelor's Degree, and who may be properly certificated by the Missouri State Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to teach in the appropriate curriculum areas. Before any teacher's contract shall be considered valid, a teaching certificate which legally qualifies the teacher for the assigned work shall be duly filed in the office of the assistant superintendent for human resources. *******
