Common use of Central Authorities Clause in Contracts

Central Authorities. (1) For the purposes of this Treaty, the Central Authority for Canada shall be the Minister of Justice or an official designated by that Minister and the Central Authority for the Republic of Peru shall be the Public Ministry of Peru. (2) The Central Authorities shall transmit and receive requests for legal assistance and responses thereto under this Treaty. (3) The Central Authorities of the contracting Parties shall communicate directly with one another.
