Cemeteries. FEMA shall see that all treatments for cemeteries comply with the relevant parts of Indiana Code 14-21-1-26.5, Indiana Code 14-21-2, Indiana Code 23- 14, and other relevant statutes. Note that ground disturbing activities cannot occur within 100 feet of a cemetery without a cemetery development plan. a. Removal of woody debris such as branches and limbs, with no ground disturbance, from cemeteries and burial grounds, provided that heavy equipment and other machinery are not operated or staged on areas potentially containing human remains. b. In-kind repair of gravestones, monuments, fences, and other cemetery components.
