Category Changes. a) When a course or courses which result in a category change have been completed before September 1, and when relevant documents are submitted to the Board on or before December 31, the salary adjustment shall be retroactive to September 1. If the documents are not available for submission to the Board prior to December 31, the salary adjustment shall be retroactive to September 1 provided a copy of the teacher’s QECO application is sent to Human Resources prior to December 31. When a course or courses have been completed between September 1 and December 31 and when relevant documents are submitted to the Board on or before June 30, the salary adjustment shall be retroactive to January 1. If the documents are not available for submission to the Board prior to June 30, the salary adjustment shall be retroactive to January 1 provided a copy of the teacher’s QECO application is sent to Human Resources prior to June 30.
