Categories – Elementary. The Employer shall not exceed the following class size maximums. 15.4.1 Elementary Schools - Maximum Class Sizes Base Program • TK/Kindergarten 27  Grades 4-6 31 Under the current State Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), school districts must make annual progress toward average class sizes of 24:1 per school site across grades TK through 3, and must reach that target by 2020- 21. Commencing with the 2015-2016 school year, average class sizes across grades TK through 3 shall be 24:1 per school site based on the current 2020- 21 LCFF target. Thereafter, class size for grades TK through 3 may be determined by future state laws and regulations.
