Cameras on Buses. 3 Video cameras shall be used on school buses for the purpose of student discipline and student safety. 4 Video shall not be used in the formal evaluation process or as evidence for disciplinary action against 5 the driver and/or bus aide except in the case of unlawful acts by the driver and/or bus aide. The driver 6 and/or bus aide may view the video during layover time unless requested by the Director of 7 Transportation or the Dispatcher, or with prior approval of the supervisor. Time spent viewing video 8 will be paid time. 10 Video shall be viewed by the Director of Transportation or the Dispatcher. The driver and/or bus aide 11 will be notified if copies of the video or portions thereof were forwarded to a Principal, Vice Principal, 12 or Law Enforcement Officer. 14 Conferences requiring video viewing will take place in a private area. During conference viewing, 15 only directly involved parties (i.e., parent/guardian, student, driver and/or bus aide, building 16 administrator, law enforcement officer, and Director of Transportation) may view the video. The 17 Superintendent, or his/her designee, may also view video upon request to the Director of 18 Transportation.
Cameras on Buses. Upon a bus driver’s request, District will make a good faith 12 effort to provide, within 72 hours, or no later than 7 working days, a camera on the District bus. The 13 camera installed shall be selected by the District.

Cameras on Buses. 28.1 The Employer may install cameras on its property and in vehicles for security purposes.
28.2 The Employer shall not review or use evidence obtained through the use of its security cameras for disciplinary purposes without reasonable grounds, nor shall the Employer use cameras to monitor employee’s productivity.
