The Calibration Procedures clause sets out the requirements and processes for ensuring that equipment or instruments used in a contract are properly calibrated and maintained. Typically, it specifies the frequency of calibration, the standards to be used, and the responsibilities of each party for performing or verifying calibration. This clause ensures that measurements and results are accurate and reliable, thereby reducing the risk of errors and disputes related to equipment performance.
Calibration Procedures. Procedures shall be established and maintained to ensure that inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IM&TE) used to determine the acceptance or rejection of process or product requirements during design, production, installation or service are calibrated, inspected, checked and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Calibration procedures shall include specific directions and limits for accuracy and precision. Calibration standards used for IM&TE must be in conformity to national or international standards.

A label is to be affixed on or, if appropriate, near the IM&TE indicating calibration status. If it is not practical to affix a label, the device shall otherwise be readily traceable to records of calibration that include the date IM&TE was calibrated, who performed the calibration, and the due date of the next calibration. E. Calibration records. Supplier is responsible for maintaining records to provide objective evidence that IM&TE are being maintained and calibrated. These records shall be made available to Siemens upon request.

Calibration Procedures. The metering consultant shall continue to calibrate and maintain the County-line meters and metering equipment listed in Table 4 in accordance with the frequency of work specified in Table 5. The work includes documenting meter readings and accuracy before and after calibration. Specific tasks to be completed by the metering consultant are as follows:
a) Quarterly testing and calibration. The secondary metering equipment shall be tested and calibrated quarterly using NIST Traceable test equipment, and a “dead weight tester.” The system loop error for the secondary metering equipment is determined by connecting its output to the differential pressure transmitter and adjusting the dead weight tester to 5 places over the full range of flow: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, while all instruments in the loop are connected. For water level transmitters, provide simulated test head equal to full range of the transmitter being calibrated, comparing the simulated test head to its 4-20 milliamp output signal to determine transmitter error and calibration requirements. The system loop error for the secondary metering equipment may not exceed +/-2%. The individual components of the secondary metering equipment shall also be tested at the same 5 input levels and calibrated as necessary to ensure the error of the system and individual components does not exceed +/- 2%.
Calibration Procedures. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ performs two types of calibrations on its LiDAR system. The first is a building calibration, and it is done any time the LiDAR system has been moved from one plane to another. New calibration parameters are computed and compared with previous calibration runs. If there is any change, the new values are updated internally or during the LiDAR post-processing. These values are applied to all data collected with the plane and the ALS-50 system configurations. Once final processing calibration parameters are established from the building data, a precisely-surveyed surface is observed with the LiDAR system to check for stability in the system. This is done several times during each mission. An average of the systematic biases are applied on a per mission basis.
