Calendared Days Clause Samples
The "Calendared Days" clause defines how days are counted for the purposes of deadlines, notice periods, or other time-sensitive obligations in a contract. Typically, this clause clarifies whether references to days mean consecutive calendar days, including weekends and holidays, or only business days. For example, if a contract requires action within 10 calendared days, the count includes all days on the calendar, not just weekdays. This clause ensures clarity and prevents disputes over timing by specifying exactly how time periods are calculated.
