Common use of Building Lighting Clause in Contracts

Building Lighting. 2.8.1 This Agreement shall not oblige the Developer to illuminate the building, but where the building is illuminated, such illumination shall generally comply with the Sections 2.8.2 and 2.8.3. 2.8.2 Lighting shall be directed to driveways, parking areas, loading areas and building entrances and shall be arranged so as to direct the light away from streets, adjacent lots and buildings. 2.8.3 The building may be illuminated for visual effect provided such illumination is directed away from streets, adjacent lots and buildings and does not flash, move or vary in intensity such that it creates a hazard to public safety.
