Common use of Building Check Clause in Contracts

Building Check. There shall be an inspection of the buildings on Saturday, Sunday and holidays only at the request of the Director of Facilities. This inspection shall be by the head employee of the buildings or by a substitute appointed by the administration or delegate appointed by the head employee. The employee conducting the building check will receive a stipend. Overtime will be paid in addition to the stipend when the buildingcheck exceeds one hour, and the employee works 40 hours during the workweek. The building check stipend for the respective building category shall be in accordance with the following: Elementary & Non-school sites - $50 Middle School - $50 High School - $50 If an employee must respond to an emergency alarm outside of the employee’s scheduled shift the employee will be paid a $75 stipend. Overtime will be paid in addition to the stipend when the emergency alarm exceeds one hour, and the employee works 40 hours during the workweek.
