Building Accessibility Clause Samples

The Building Accessibility clause establishes requirements to ensure that a building is accessible to individuals with disabilities. It typically outlines standards for features such as ramps, elevators, door widths, and restroom facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws or codes like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). By specifying these requirements, the clause helps prevent barriers to access, promotes inclusivity, and reduces the risk of legal challenges related to accessibility.
