Briefs. 2.1 ALS briefs delivered to Public Defenders should be complete and prepared in accordance with accepted standards between the parties to this agreement. 2.2 ALS briefs should be delivered to Public Defenders at the earliest opportunity. 2.3 The ALS may retain a Public Defender for a particular matter prior to formally briefing him/her. However, the ALS must deliver the brief at the earliest opportunity.
