Common use of Bridge Locations Clause in Contracts

Bridge Locations. The Engineer shall verify that the GPS coordinates in InspectTech and that they are accurate (i.e., located on the bridge). If the coordinates are missing or not accurate, the Engineer shall collect new coordinates using a hand held Global Positioning System (GPS) unit and provide coordinates in a decimal format. Sub-meter, differentially corrected data is not required. The Engineer shall notify the State District Bridge Inspection Coordinator of needed corrections via the Lists of Structures.
