Box Culverts. The Consultant shall provide the structural design for all box culverts (new and/or existing) for both storm water and wildlife crossings. Existing box culverts that are hydraulically adequate shall be structurally evaluated to determine whether it is appropriate to extend or replace the structure. Applicable FDOT Box Culvert standards shall be evaluated and incorporated to the extent possible. All box culverts are to be determined by the Consultant and approved by the County.
