Book Allowance. At recent collective bargaining negotiations the University agreed to provide a fifty dollar ($50) book allowance to all bargaining unit members. This allowance will be provided once each calendar year to employees who have successfully completed the probationary period and who have been allocated a minimum of one (1) permanent weekly scheduled shift in the fall term.   • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. ▇▇▇▇'s Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A.
