Common use of Board Action Required Clause in Contracts

Board Action Required. The Board may grant teachers who have met certain criteria and procedures, as outlined in this Article, a leave of absence without pay. Each request for an unpaid leave of absence will be considered on its individual merits. The applications shall be submitted in accordance with the provisions of this Article. The particular circumstances surrounding each leave will be reviewed by the Board with the understanding that its decision will in no way establish a precedent. The decision of the Board as to whether such leave shall be granted is final.
