Bioterrorism Sample Clauses
The Bioterrorism clause defines the parties' rights and obligations in the event that an act of bioterrorism impacts the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines procedures for suspending or terminating contractual duties if performance becomes impossible or unsafe due to a bioterrorism event, such as the release of harmful biological agents. Its core function is to allocate risk and provide a clear framework for responding to extraordinary circumstances that could disrupt normal business operations.
Bioterrorism. 1. The Department of Health Services has established a Decontamination Response Plan. The Department shall notify the union within 60 days of any proposed changes to the plan.
2. The Department of Health Services shall provide training on an ongoing basis to all employees involved in direct patient care about the safe response to, including but not limited to, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear contamination or disasters. Such training shall be provided on County time.
Bioterrorism. To the extent applicable, Lessee shall comply with the registration requirements of the Public Health Security and Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, and shall provide Lessor with written proof of such compliance not less than annually.
