Common use of Binding Effect; Severability Clause in Contracts

Binding Effect; Severability. The provisions of this Contract shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of Seller and ▇▇▇▇▇ and their respective successors and assigns. If any term or provision of this Contract shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Contract shall be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law and said invalid or unenforceable term or provision shall be substituted by a term or provision as near in substance as may be valid and enforceable.
