Bilingual Sample Clauses

Bilingual. The District shall pay a bilingual stipend of $50 per month to such positions as the District may identify as requiring bilingual skills. Employees in such positions must pass a verbal assessment test in order to receive the stipend. When a vacancy occurs, the District may at its discretion indicate on the job posting that bilingual skills are preferred or required for the position. This stipend shall be pro-rated for part-time employees according to FTE.

Bilingual. SCEEAA represented employees shall be eligible for bilingual pay in accordance with the County’s Ordinance on Bilingual Pay.
Bilingual. The Employer will provide non-certified/non-licensed hourly staff a $1.50 per hour premium and place Certified/Licensed staff on the step above where they would normally qualify for placement in exchange for validated bilingual expertise in any language designated by the employer as a high need area of expertise. This extra compensation will be limited to no more than two employees per designated language per bargaining unit.

Bilingual. Employees with Spanish language or American Sign Language abilities or a similar ability with any other languages that are regularly used as part of their work at NLSLA shall be paid a monthly Bilingual I supplement of one hundred dollars ($100) per month ($1,200 per year). To qualify for these supplements, the employee must be able to communicate, understand and translate legal advice and information. Qualification for each of these supplements is contingent upon passing a fluency examination and the employer's determination that the employee will regularly use this skill in his/her work.
Bilingual. Employees responsible to provide bilingual services shall receive an increase to base salary of five percent (5%). To qualify for the five percent (5%) increase, an employee must pass a proficiency test. The County shall select and administer or cause to be administered a standardized test for all eligible employees. The number of employees eligible to participate in this program shall be established annually with the adoption of the County's Position Allocation List.
