Belt. Boys in 1st grade and higher must wear a brown belt.

Special buckles may be worn, subject to approval of the Fire Chief. SOCKS Black or navy blue in color. White is allowable when worn with high collar or three-quarter boots. FOOTWEAR Solid (unperforated) leather or corfam material, black in color. Smooth finish to accept polishing. Toe to be plain or cap toe and shall conform to the contour of the sole. Soles to be not more than ¾ inch thick. Heels shall not be more than 1½ inches thick (measured from the bottom of the heel to the top of the sole). Laces will be black. Station Class B safety boots will be provided by the City.
Belt. (1) Plain black leather belt, 1 1/2" width with a silver colored buckle for line staff and a gold colored buckle for supervisors. A Key Safe will also be issued.
