Common use of Basic Agreements Clause in Contracts

Basic Agreements. The WPPA will contract with health care providers ("Participating Providers") and suppliers of medical goods and services who agree, among other things, to provide health care services and goods at specified charges negotiated by WPPA on behalf of Group to Participating Patients who elect to use the preferred provider panel. Such election can be made by a Beneficiary on a service-by-service basis. The WPPA also, among other things, will provide utilization and quality assessment review of those services rendered to Participating Patients by Participating Providers. The Participating Hospital agrees to participate in the WPPA preferred provider panel and will endeavor to deliver Covered Hospital Services to Participating Patients that are Medically Necessary. The Group agrees to offer the Preferred Provider Program to its Beneficiaries as an alternative health care program throughout the term of this Agreement and any subsequent renewal thereof.

The Group agrees to offer the Preferred Provider Program to its Beneficiaries as an alternative health care program throughout the term of this Agreement agreement and any subsequent renewal thereof.
