Base Image Sample Clauses
The Base Image clause defines the specific software image or template that serves as the foundational layer for a system, application, or virtual environment. It typically specifies the version, source, and configuration of the image to ensure consistency across deployments; for example, it might require all containers to use a particular version of Ubuntu or a pre-approved company image. This clause ensures that all parties use a standardized starting point, reducing compatibility issues and simplifying maintenance and security management.
Base Image. You must create your Image using a Microsoft-published Base Image from the Marketplace that consists of the same Microsoft Software Products that you have been authorized to include in your Image Product. You may not publish an Image that includes copies of Microsoft Software Products that you obtained elsewhere, whether from Microsoft or from a Microsoft reseller. You may not download a Base Image and run copies of any Microsoft Software Products therein outside of Azure for the purpose of creating your Image unless you have valid pre-existing licenses that permit such on-premises use.
Base Image. The base image is the principal image of interest or focus for which other data may be inset or overlaid. The NSIF File can have none, one, or multiple base images. For multiple base images in a single NSIF File, the relative location of each base image is defined in the Image Location (ILOC) Field in each Image Subheader. This location will be the offset within the Common Coordinate System (CCS) based on the Segment to which the image is attached.
