Base Functionality Allowance Clause Samples

The Base Functionality Allowance clause defines the minimum set of features or services that must be provided under an agreement. It typically outlines the essential capabilities or performance standards that a product, system, or service must meet, regardless of any additional enhancements or optional features. For example, in a software contract, this clause might specify that the application must support basic user authentication and data storage. Its core practical function is to ensure that the recipient receives a guaranteed baseline of functionality, thereby preventing disputes over whether fundamental requirements have been met.
