Common use of Barter Clause in Contracts

Barter. 10.1 TI Media shall be under no obligation to, and will have sole discretion as to whether or not it chooses to, accept Barter or trade credits issued by barter companies as payment for Orders. Any barter terms and availability shall be negotiated and agreed at the time of booking. 10.2 Advertisements may only be traded as Barter by recognised barter agencies approved by TI Media. Any payment made by way of Barter shall not contribute towards Gross Revenue unless otherwise agreed by TI Media at the time of Order on a case-by-case basis. 10.3 Barter rates will be agreed between TI Media and the relevant Barter agency (and where relevant, the Buyer).
