Common use of Balances in Multiple Currencies Clause in Contracts

Balances in Multiple Currencies. If one of the currency Balances in your Account shows that you owe us an amount of funds for any reason, we may set-off the amount you owe us by using funds you maintain in a different currency Balance or by deducting amounts you owe us from money you receive into your Account, or money you attempt to withdraw or send from your Account, or in a different Account, and by deducting funds from any withdrawals you attempt to make. If, for a period of 21 Days, you have a Balance that reflects an amount owing to us that is not in Euros, PayPal will convert the amount you owe us to Euros. You will be charged a Currency Conversion Fee as set out in A3.1.1 of Schedule 1 for the conversion of the amount you owe us into Euros (pursuant to section 8.2). You are responsible for all risks associated with maintaining Balances in multiple currencies (including, without limitation, the risk that the value of these Balances will fluctuate as exchange rates change, which over time may result in a significant decrease in the value of the Balances). You agree that you will not attempt to use multiple currencies for speculative trading.
