Common use of Backing Tracks Clause in Contracts

Backing Tracks. Where the BBC wishes to use a backing track it will determine whether the record company had, for recordings made prior to 1st June 2011, cleared backing track rights, by checking the position with the MU or the record company. If the BBC is advised that such backing track rights are not cleared, the BBC and the MU will liaise to agree a rate in good faith for such clearance.
