BACKGROUND & PURPOSE. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County School District will be collaborating with a third-party teacher exchange sponsorship agency to enter into an agreement of collaboration with the Embassy of Spain, Education Office in Salt Lake City, Utah. This Letter of Intent is established January 25, 2018 between ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County School District and the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain. The purposes of this Letter of Intent are to: 1.1 Place teachers from Spain in K-12 teaching positions in ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County School District where the language skills, professional background and experience of the teachers can enrich the education of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County School District students; 1.2 Provide the visiting teachers as well as the participating ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County School District students, teachers and administrators with a cross-cultural experience that can ▇▇▇▇▇▇ understanding and respect; and 1.3 Create opportunities for the visiting teachers to build the professional expertise and English skills and to better understand American culture, society, and teaching practices.
