Common use of Back Valuation Clause in Contracts

Back Valuation. If the Client requests that a payment be back valued, the Custodian will use reasonable efforts to accommodate this request. Due to longer processing time frames and potential additional costs related to back valuation, the Custodian encourages the Client to resolve late payment claims through direct interest compensation.

All related charges shall be posted to the Client’s cash account. Due to longer processing time frames and potential additional costs related to back valuation, the Custodian encourages the Client to resolve late payment claims through direct interest compensation. If the payment delay is due to a Custodian error, the Custodian will pay any interest or back valuation costs resulting from such delay.
