B-1. Upon a supervisor's request, verification of the Support Staff Employee's illness, disability or medical appointment may be required in order to charge an absence to sick leave. Inappropriate use of sick leave may result in disciplinary action and a pay dock for each ½ hour of inappropriate use. A Support Staff Employee absent for five (5) or more consecutive working days may, at the discretion of the supervisor, be required to present a release from a medical provider prior to their return to work.
