Axle Loads Clause Samples
The 'Axle Loads' clause sets limits on the maximum weight that can be applied to each axle of vehicles operating within a specified area or on certain infrastructure. In practice, this clause may require vehicles to be weighed before entering a site or restrict access to vehicles that exceed designated axle load limits, helping to prevent damage to roads, bridges, or other structures. Its core function is to protect infrastructure from excessive wear and potential structural failure by ensuring that vehicles comply with safe weight distribution standards.
Axle Loads. As indicated in table 1.
Axle Loads. MOT shall cause ARS to establish vehicle weighing stations within the expressway road(s) financed under Tranche I of the Facility to control the axle overloading and institute appropriate procedures and regulations to enforce the axle load control by the completion of the relevant project or subproject.
Axle Loads. SPG through SPCD shall cause SDEC to install vehicle axle-weighing equipment at selected entry points and make suitable arrangements for the operation of such equipment. Before opening the Project expressway, SPG through SPCD shall cause SDEC to submit to ADB the plan for operation of the vehicle weigh stations, including the prescribed axle-load limits and penalties for infringement.
Axle Loads. MOT shall ensure that ARS establishes vehicle weighing stations within the Project Road to control the axle overloading and institute appropriate procedures and regulations to enforce the axle load control by the completion of the Project.
Axle Loads. The Borrower shall cause RTSD to fully establish vehicle weighing stations along the roads in Azerbaijan, including the two stations located in the Project Area to enforce the axle load regulations prior to project completion.
