Automatic Results Notification. During the inspection scheduling process, the permit holder may request to be contacted when results have been posted by the inspector. After selecting this option, the permit holder is prompted to enter their telephone number. After inspectors have posted the results of an inspection, permit holders that have opted in are contacted with the notification. The Automatic Results Notification provides the following information: the permit number, inspection type, inspection result, and the date of inspection. If the call is answered by voice mail, a generic message is played stating that a result was posted to the inspection, but the actual result is not played.
