Common use of Authorizing Ordinances Clause in Contracts

Authorizing Ordinances. Each Party certifies that it has undertaken the necessary public procedures and, if applicable, has passed an ordinance, in accordance with ORS 190.085, which authorizes the signatories to this Agreement to act on behalf of the Party in executing this Agreement. The Parties further agree that, if required, they will file with the Secretary of State, within 30 days after the effective date of this Agreement, a copy of the adopted ordinance and statement of information as specified in ORS 190.085(2). Any copies of documents filed pursuant to ORS 190.085(2) shall also be furnished to and be retained by the EAC.
